Went to the track last night and messed my car up!!! I came up to theburnout boxdid my burn out, went to launch out and my passenger side half shaft broke. Does anybody know where the best placeI canbuy new half shafts? Please help if you can.

 

It will break again. I suggest looking into a solid axle conversion. Also, I heard from some that if you upgrade to Level5 halfshafts they suck, and they are like $1700. Look into a solid axle if you dont want to worry about it anymore. Sorry about your luck, that sucks. Im doing a solid as we speak, I broke my diff.

 

who said Level 5 half-shafts suck? Expensive, yes. If you can keep from wheelhopping, Level 5's should be more than sufficient.

 

my set up would have snapped level 5 half shafts sooo fast, it wouldn't even be funny! SOLID FTMFW!

 

i am going solid as well. every now and then there are half shafts for sale on svtperformance.

 

Ok Im going to look into getting a solid but for now because of money issues, gotta go with stock half shaft. Found one at the local dealership for 275. Thanks for yalls help

 

Good luck man. Just keep the wheel hop down to prolong your new shaft. Level 5's suck because with any power they still break and your not getting rid of your wheel hop issue. SOLID FTMFW again
