whats wrong? my speedometer works but the milage and trip never change. i always would check my mpg and one day i reset the trip and since then neither one has worked.

 

if u mileage doens't get highe, leave it like that!! Great resale value with low mileage! lol! jk!

 

i know right...i was just going to say...odometer not moving...and that's a bad thing?j/k i hope someone chimes in that could help you diagnose the problem...or have it looked at.

 

i hope i dont buy a cobra with inaccurate milage. plus piece of mind knowing all your stuff works.

 

Your odometer gear has worn out. You can replace it by buying a gear from http://www.odometergears.com/ to fix it. The plastic teeth get worn down and brittle over time. It is quite common in the pre 99 mustangs. It happened to mine a few months back and I replaced it - pretty simple.
