hey i wanted to see the times on a 96-98 cobra. 0-60, 1/4 mile..... Also waht is the power at the wheels and crank...any info would be appreciated

 

I used to own a 96 Cobra Vert before my 03 Cobra. The 96 lays down about 240-250 to the wheels, I think. It's rated at 305 at the crank. The 1/4 mile is mid 13s to high 13s. But you can lower that time by dropping in some much needed gearing. I believe the 0-60 time was rated at 5.1s.

i have a 98 cobra and my best time has been 14.1 at 4000 feet, so at sea level it would be about a 13.2... my mods are listed below...

i got a 98 cobra w/ just exhaust. if i put 4.10's in it will i notice a big difference? i have stock gearing now

i have a 97 cobra with k&n and flows and 4:10s and i ran 8.93 in the 1/8th

 

nice...! im excited to get my gears in. my buddy has a 96 SS. Talks alot of s**t cause he has a 6 speed and a 350. Hes one of those crazy " Chevy is the best, Fords are weaker than Hondas" kind of guy. Im sure ill beat him haha lets hope.
