hey guys, i have a 99 cobra and i was reading up about the recall and read somewhere that ford put a green or blue dot on the manifold behind the alternator when they fixed the recall problem. im pretty sure i found the dot on my car but i wanted to post a picture and ask you guys if this is it.
the fix actualy upgraded fuel management, 308hp to the 320.
And intake problem that was making the air too turbulent or went in at strange angle. Also was supposed to fix a cat back issue. I was told they placed a sticker on engine??
I don't have a sticker on mine but called Ford and they told me that there are no recalls outstanding for my VIN. I think that the later end of the run left the factory with the correct setup. Mine is #3,500 (?) of 4,000 verts.
