Stock throttle body question

Default Stock throttle body question

hey guys anyone know right off hand what the measurement is for the stock03 cobrathrottle body. I know the accufab one for the 99/01 cobra is at twin 60mm. i am getting a 99/01 intake for my turbo set up and he wants trade me the accufab one for my single blade. want to see how much bigger the accufab unit is than the stock 03/03 TB. thanks guys.

Hey on the stock 03 cobras its a twin 57mm TB. If im not mistaken

sounds about right, the one this guy has is a twin 60, not sure if the extra 6mm is worth 400 bux. lol

I don't think any throttle body is worth $400, unless it's the accufab single blade and you have 8psi or more for the airflow as it will net you enough power to make it worth the expense. The bigger the throttle body, the less off the line you'll have. It will give you better response, but lag at full throttle compared to a bigger port. Bigger ports yield you power at higher rpms. Just depends what you are looking for.

he wants to trade me for a twin 60mm accufab for my Billet flow single blade. i figured i could keep my stock one and sell the big oval to make extra money since i can't use it on the new mani.
