WELL MY VEHICLE DIED ON THE FREEWAY LAST NIGHT. FIRST MY BATTERY LIGHT CHIMED ONE THEN MY ABS LIGHT WAS NEXT AND LAST MY AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON. THE LAST THING THAT HAPPENED IS THAT MY GAUGES STOPPED WORKING. HEADLIGHTS AND RADIO STILL WORKED BUT CAR WASNT ON CUS IT WONT START. ANYBODY KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH MY TERMY? AND IF ANYBODY KNOWS OF A CHEAP ALTERNATOR OR ANY RECOMMENDATIONS PLEASE LIST.

Sounds like the alternator to me. Check all the lines for the battery, and make sure they are all a tight connection. You'll need to buy a new alternator, most likely. The alt went on my '96, and my gauges were the first thing to go, then lights came on (abs light, check engine), then the car just shut off.

+1 on the alternator, also...clean the terminals on the battery and the alternator.

easy way to make sure. put a volt meter across the battery terminals when its running (might need to jump it to do so). if its reading less than 12 volts, its the alt. if its reading 13-14 volts, your alt is fine.
