Default 03 Cobra Problem

hey guys, yet another issue with this car....this time the brake light sensor will come on upon simi-hard stops, and it does not matter if i use the brakes to stop or just down shift, the light still goes on and stays on for a few seconds and shuts off. any ideas?

Brake trouble light comes on without touching the brakes, just engine-braking? Strange. First thing I would do is check the brake fluid level (I'm sure you've already done that tho).

My brake light use to come on when I stopped somewhat hard... but I already had known that I needed to change the brakes... have you checked how much life your brakes have??? lol
