I'm gonna swap out my IRS for a solid here shortly. My question is, what do you guys think I should do in the way of rear gears? Put 3.55's like stock, or maybe 3.73's or 3.90s? I'm not worried about gas mileage, it's already sh!tty with my mods. I'm not sure which gearing would let me trap better in the quarter.

4.10's would be a good gear since you have a six speed

if gas isnt an issue, go w/ 4.10, that would be a fun ride,
how much do you think it'll cost to do the complete swap?

Well, I've found a used rear for $600. I would need a new cat back to fit the swapped rear, and I'd want to upgrade the brakes to the Cobra size and also beef up the upper and lower control arms. I know a mechanic that is very reasonable with labor charges, so possibly for $1500 I could get this done, minus the Cat back and that is just an estimate. I'm still unsure whether I want to give up my smooth ride. I may just spend that money beefing up the IRS. I may even just wait until I destroy the rear so it gives me a real reason to do it....LoL
