i just bought a 01 cobra and installed a flowmaster catback. i need to save up for the more expensive mods and am wondering what are some good inexpensive mods to start with.

you could get a cold air intake, subframes, gears, and a shifter

On a cobra, go NO LESS than 4.10's if you plan to stay N/a. I would recommend no less than 4.30's, if you don't do alot of highway driving. If the car is primarily a track car go w/ 4.56's. Forced induction is up to you, if you throw a blower/turbo on your car, don't look to get very good traction with anything 4.10 or greater.

I would say gears and an aftermarket shifter with positive shift stops are the first things a cobra owner should do. Protect your tranny and get in your amazing powerband!!!!!!
