SLP loudmouth + something to elminate ur cats. Thats just loud. On my 96 I have a BBK X-pipe with Flowmaster 40 series and its pretty damn loud.. it has a deep sound to it, i love it...

please keep the visual mods where they are...mustangs arent supposed to be too flashy... i think its overdone personally

Best sounding 96 Cobra I heard had BBK LT's, BBK Catted X w/ LM1's... Sounded amazing! Personally I like Bassani but it's all about preferance. Headers don't help out that much anyway, unless you want the sound to change a little bit...

[align=left]+1 on that. I've been told the same with my catback. I have shorties with BBK x pipe and flowmaster and I can be heard getting off the freeway when I'm going to my friends house. Also if you go with headers, the x pipe won't make that popping sound anymore, headers smooth it out.

But you two are talking about 2v motors not 4v ones! They are totally different sounding with LT headers!!!

Yeah but I'd rather not go with LT's on my 2V, as you can see the clearance issues I would run into.

I don't understand? 2v or 4v they are all the same! I haven't had any problems and my car is lowered 1.5". Also, you can clearly see in the pic that my headers are higher than my catback! The catback has scraped because it's in the midle of the car. The closer to the wheels means less bottoming out because it's not a pivot point like going over railroad tracks. I guarantee I well never hit my headers!

You don't have to get all defensive, that was just like 2 inches of clearance so I figured it would hit stuff. I almost bought a 70 mustang until I looked under it and saw it had about the same clearance you were showing. That's all, I'm saying that the sound honestly is not that much different. Other than maybe a lil deeper tone it's all around the same tone. That's all I'm saying.
