if you have a 96-98 cobra id say shortys, wont give you the performance as long tubes, but your not going to notice the difference, not to mention on 5 96-98 model cobras that ive seen, whenever installing long tube headers they always run into clearance issue, usually it hits the k-member, and sometimes the steering shaft.
