I think so, I've seen it many times before and I dont think they were all aftemarkets.

 

94 & 95 Cobra's say Mustang on the rear...

96-98's say Cobra...

99's say Mustang...

01+ say Cobra...

And the grill emblem is an add on like stated above. Looks soo much better than the horse, IDK why they didn't put the Cobra emblem in there in the first place...

 

my bud switched the horse out into the cobra and it made the car honestly look ten times better. I couldn't believe it.

my neighbor has a 97 black on black cobra with the sanke and looks bada**
except he has a big decal in his window that says cobra

 

Yeah mustangs can get rid of the decals unless it says, Saleen or Steeda, IMO. lol.

IDK...just my opinion I dont need the huge "COBRA" or "MUSTANG" decal going across the windshield or rear window letting me know its a cobra or mustang. lol

 

ok i have a question mine and my buddys cobras where sitting next to each other the other day and we realized that our front bumper cobras faced the other direction. Mine faced the driver side and his faced the passenger side.....Which was is it supose to go?

 

Going buy the center caps on my stock wheels, i would say driver side, although my grille emblem is facing the passenger. Never noticed it before.

 

GTs have the Horse with the silver ring (corral), Cobras have the horse without the corral. You can get the Cobra from Ford for about $30. If you dont have the tool to get the Horse off, drill through the screws and use stainless screws to attach the Cobra. A company advertising in MMFF has a 3 dimensional Cobra for around 225, I think.
