Default Died at high speed?

This morning I just happened to find myself next to an ss at a stoplight. After bringin the guys self esteem down a notch, I let off the gas and my car died out. It cranked fine while rolling but smelt like something was burning. I very rarely run my car hard and it gets regular check ups. Guages read fine and no check light. The smell went away quick, butthis is the second time this has happened (in about a years time). What could cause this? Thanks

replace the fuel filter. Mine hesistated at high RPMs which all went away with a new filter.

Do you let your car go below 1/4 tank often? I did a few times by accident, and learned the hard way. My fuel filter was full of ****, and at the same time my computer took a **** on me. Lets just hope it's your filter, so try that out.

I dont think the ls1's are that bad! I'd probably never buy one, but for the money(10k-ish) they're not a bad deal here in my area..
