3.4L whipple or Hellion TT +eaton???
Why not go Whipple AND the Hellion TT compound boost? On their website it says it's compatible with the factory Eaton or an aftermarket roots/twin-screw. Whipple is a twin-screw, get both if money isn't an issue!

I have a question for all you guys when i get home from this deployment im either going to get the whipple 3.4 or the hellion tt eaton kit. Idk which one to go with because i don't know that much about the 3.4L whipple. What kind of power at what boost levels are average? I know what the hellion kit puts out on different tunes because of their website. And 900rwhp on a street tune is hard to turn down but i will prob be installing the kit with a few of my UTI buddies. Thanks for the info everyone let me know what you think. And one last thing it will be a weekend and track car i have a daily driver...

DO you have a built motor? If you don't, I wouldn't think about the Hellraiser. Do a search over at SVT Performance for JRS Blown Snake. He ran 9.xxx on the 3.4 Whipple, it's the fastest Cobra in the country.

Just a point that I think should be made. Does the Hellion kit come with a tubular k member and suspension? If not you will need that and that will be extra cost as well.
Built motor + Whip > stock motor+ TT,s
The built motor with the whip will cost thousands less. I really dont see a need to go turbo unless you plan to push over 1000hp.
The hellraser is not very impressive. It makes less hp than with just having turbo's. If you go turbo, dump the supercharger.

does no one get it? the blower gives you the low rpm power that you lose with big turbos. it makes the over all power band better which would make for better 1/4 mile times if that is what you are after. esspecially in a manual transmission car.
Blownsvt I def get having 500+ tq at like 3000rpm is great for launches. Right now that is one of the only reasons that i beat my ls friends that have more hp on built engines. Their 60' times are crap(most are vetts so their gear ratios suck and not really a launch suspension). I think im going with the whipple, even though i have like 20 grand to spend this time back i think im going to pay off the car also and mabe some suspension items see if i can get to ten flat with high boost. Thanks everyone and you can'tgo againstthe tq from the twin screws
