Default Engine bay screech...help

My bro has a Termi and just replaced the belt back to the 8 ribbed, it was running on a 6 rib for 2 weeks. Every time it goes above 3k RPM it makes a screeching/ squealing sound.

There are a couple of other factors to consider:

1.The original 8 rib wore off 2 ribs because of an idle pullyoff alignment. But car was purchased in that condition, after car was ran for a while the wear on belt was noticeable. While the car had the 6 rib on it, it was ran hard from time to time.

2. The car went from NM to CA for a month, then back to NM (here now)

Any help is appreciated...thanks ahead of time

Sounds like one of the idler bearing are bad. Put belt dressing on it and see if that stops it.

Billet Flow make a nice set of idlers you can buy.
