It is a lot like modding your GT, but your gains will be a lot more due to the 4v. Thereare people with gears, built rear and exhaust running midto low 12's...

I don't know what you guys are talking about, I can barely shift the mach 1 which still has the stock shifter. I can't wait until I get time to install the MGW when it gets here... lol

well, unlike GT's, TB's are a waste of money on a 4v... at least one that is N/A

Throttle bodies on a GT is pretty worthless itself...

uhm blackvenom, I don't know what your talking about.. the transmission and shifter in the N/A Cobra and my old GT was exactly the same as my Mach 1 now (i have changed the shifters in all 3)... I think that's in your head. They're all the Tremec 3650 with the same shift handle. If yours was short in your Cobra when you got it... it was an aftermarket shifter.

ya ya thats what i was sayin man like its almost as short as a couple of my buds short shifter so im thinkin it was some poor short shifter...i had a 2003 mustang and its stock shiftin was way way poor compared to this so my guess is it was after market but i havent opened it up to check it out so ya

It must be, because the shifter in my GT when I had it, looked pretty identical to my friends in his 01' Cobra when I helped him switch his out... I haven't switched it in my Mach yet... but im assuming same tranny, same semi truck shifting length will be identical...
