Default Intercooler Pump....Easy Install?

Just curious if an Intercooler Pump would be easy to install cause I am thinking about selling my 05 GT for a 04 Cobra, but it needs brake pads and an Intercooler Pump

I haven't done it myself but I can't imagine it is that hard. I would definitely sell the gt for the cobra though. That is what I did and I couldn't be happier.

really? you sold your 06 for a 03 Cobra?....how many miles, etc? What do you think I could get for my Stock 05 GT with 20k miles? I'm hoping for around $17000-$18000....cause I know they will take $18000 for sure, but idk if they will take less.

Ya and my 06 even had all the mods that are in my sig. I was a little hesitant at first but now I am definitely glad I did it. My 06 had around 9k miles and the cobra had 9200 miles and was bone stock when I got it. Hard to say what you can get for your gt. The market for sports cars seems to be a little rough lately. You could probably get more if you sold it yourself. That was originally what I tried to do but then finally just traded it in for the cobra after having no luck.

yea...well I HAVE to sell it myself to get the cash to buy the cobra because my friend is only looking to sell and not to trade. I need to find someone around here who would be interested cause its not a bad looking car. But the rims would not come on it b/c those are a Christmas present and I could still put them on the new cobra. I originally bought the car for almost $18,000. I'm hoping to sell for at least $17,000. Think I could get it?

I loved my Terminator, however I wouldn't be an easy sell to give up the GT.. Have you ever thought about just putting a blower on that? The thing that really stunk about the Terminator were the little things combined with design flaws... the heat on the motor, the alternator, the FRPS, clutch, clutch quadrant, IRS... things like that. It really drove me nuts. I might even keep the GT and just put a blower on it, and things like that... There were things Ford should've done, and didn't to really make this car much better. I mean, people keep spare blower belts and FRPS in their trunk!

When I installed me Heat Exchanger I saw the intercooler pump, and it doesn't look that hard to replace.. in all honesty. Just go grab a haynes manual and im sure you'll be fine if you have an idea how to work on cars. You can also buy the pump pretty cheap from Tousley Ford.

ok....well the Cobra I am buying has had a lot done but seems in great condition. But for all the minor things it would be ok cause I'm getting one heck of a deal on it and having 500+rwhp. The GT is only 1 year newer and would take another $5000 to supercharge my GT in addition to the $18000 cost of the car. Where as I could sell the GT for $17000 and buy the Cobra and use $1000 to fix what needs to be fixed and have a faster car for the same price as a Stock GT.

I supercharged my 06 and did the full exhaust and all kinds of other mods and I still enjoyed the cobra a lot better. The only thing is you mentioned using the rims on the new car. The rims look awesome on the cobras the only thing is I'm not sure if the bolt patterns are the same. I may be wrong though.

they're both 5 lug. I had the rims on my 99 Cobra before the 05 so I know they will fit. I just hope I can manage to sell my 05 for around $18k so I can pay cash for the 04 Cobra. Might have to put it up on EBay as well.
