Right now i have an off road x and slp cat back, but my reg. is up soon and i need to do emissions to renew it so im just planning on putting the stock h pipe back on then switchin it back to the x after... is there any other course of action or tricks that i can use so i dont have to do all those swaps?

get yourself a set of MIL Eliminators. I had an O/R H-Pipe and flows on mine. It passed inspection everytime. The mil eliminators keep your check engine light from coming on. as long as whomever inspects your car doesn't check underneath you car, your good to go.

when i'd get my car inspected, they would hook their computer up under the dash, crank it up, let it run through all of its CHECKS, and then its passed. if the car doesnt have OBll then yes they will put something in the tail pipe to check the emissions, but thats on older cars

in north carolina if your car is a 1996 or older you don't even have an emissions check, its pretty much a safety check, lights, horn, tire wear, etc....
