I was wanting to put SLP Loudmouth 1s on my 1997 Cobra. I ran into some questions though. I saw these on americanmusctle.com.... http://www.americanmuscle.com/slpexhaust1.html

I need to know why is one way more expensive? Also if I go with the americanmusctle one what else do I need. Or is that it?

My Friend says that SLP is the loudest on the aftermarket and sound amazing.

 

i have them they are the loudest and some say they sound sweet some say they sound like totall crap and doesnt sound like a mustang...but to ur question i would hit am just casue i have gotten stuff from them many times before and are very reliable....i actually got mine from jegs because there is a store close to my house and i always rather do it in person...there are many reasons that ebay can be cheaper i hardly ever use ebay and i prolly never will when it comes to expensive parts for my car just cause i dont feel safe puttin in 300 or 400 dollars there.....

 

the Ebay SLP's were just the resonators. The american muscle item was the entire catback.

yea go wit the americanmuscle SLP catback...everything you need right there. you get LM1's its gonna sound awesome. I love the SLP sound. the only thing wit their catbacks is they tend to be high pitched and raspy with an O/R X....but hey I did it to turn heads and it def. will.

 

+1 has some major caccle but sounds awesome...if u get headers along with an O/R x it will sound sweet i cant wait till i can put headers on mine
