KB cobra mad work...only 528rwhp at 20.4lbs boost
Hey all I posted here a while ago with a parts list of all the stuff on this cobra. Here's a pic of the engine bay. The damn thing is rebuilt from the stock intake manifold and above, new fuel system, new fuel rails,62 lb injectors, custom exhaust, new FMIC, methanol, fenderwell intake, for some reason kept STOCK throttle body, KB 2.6 with 3.25" pulley.
Thing put down 528rwhp at 20.4lbs of boost....I am just perplexed by this number considering all the other work done...
If I wanted only 528rw i woulda done alotta bolt-ons not dropped $17,000 in parts and labor!!!!

on 20 lbs of boost, on the 2.6 kb, u should be right around 670 rwhp...
u definitely should be getting acompression test. if ur cylinders look good, then put ur car on a different dyno, to see what numbers it puts down. there is always a chance that the dyno u were on, is not reading correctly.
if it still puts down horrible numbers, i would first, change all of my plugs.. put in some ngk tr6's gapped at .030
finally, it can possibly be the tune ur car is running. the timing charts might be off, causing u to not make power... or u mightjust be running lean, causing some detonation, which cause ur car to pull out massive amounts of timing, automatically....
other than that, i dont know. where abouts do u live?

I would be livid right now if i was in your situation. I gotless quarter of the money into mine and mine put down just 30 hp less.
I don't know if you paid to have that stuff installed, but if you did you should go back there and tell them fools they had better come off the loot for the parts and labor or make your car put down at least 625rwhp. There has to be something very wrong with the shop that installed your setup. If they let you take your car home after that **** of a dyno run after prolly charging you 7gz to set up the blower and **** i would be scared. Pray its something minor....
Anyway mind posting the shop name? So i can stay away, far far away...

Hegotgame.
It is entirely possible that the shop made a mistake here, and make NO excuses for them. But before you go off on the attack and recommend that NOBODY ever go there again, wait and see what happened. It could be any number of things mentioned in the above posts.
Mistakes happen, and maybe one happened here. Give the shop an opportunity to figure it out. It is not the mistake that tells you about the shop/person/business, it is how they ADDRESS the issue that tells you something.
