Whats the curb weight on a 2004 Ford Mustang Cobra. Somebody actually told me that these things weigh like 4500 lbs. That seems outrageous.

check your title and your door jamb, but your title will give actual vehicle weight minus all fluids (trans, oil, gas,..etc.)
They were just merely stretching the truth. The mustangs are kinda heavy, but the camaros' and Transams are not very far behind if at all. Nothing like the vette's. those weigh only 3100lbs. The GTO's are almost 4klbs.
Just to give you an example of 4500lbs. My old 2000 Silverado reg cab stepside 4X4 weighed 4765lbs. Full frame, tranfer case, 4X4, huge tires, much more metal. I think my 97 weighs 3460 if my memory serves me right.
