Default 1996 Cobra Clutch Question-Please Help!

I have a '96 Cobra with 16,000 miles on it. I noticed that the clutch is engaging when the pedal is almost all the way out. I also noticed that there is a burning smell when I peeled out a little in the driveway yesterday. Is my clutch almost gone? If so, does anyone know how much it cost to replace it and is there a certain brand you would recommend? Thanks!

Default RE: 1996 Cobra Clutch Question-Please Help!

Installation will vary from $4-600 and the clutch will cost anywhere from $2-400 for a descent one. I would highly reccomend a DF centerforce because of it's super smooth engagement and powerful hold when needed and it has barely any pedal effort. I would say 1/2 stock pedal effort. If your on a budget just go with a King Cobra clutch. Don't buy the King Cobra's off Ebay as many are fakes!
