Default 97 cobra overheating

well hell
tha car has a new pillar temp gage, water pump, flushed and cleaned the rad
new ford oem 195f thermostat, even pulled it out to check its opening.
the radiator, i was told was put in new 2 years ago before it set up from then till now( the old motor was toasted) this motor i was told has about 40,000 miles
the fan is jumped for high speed all the time. i pulled the rad today and noticed
that it has the AT cooler boss's and it seems to me to have really small
tubes well not tubes their flat not tube like. i also put the air dam back on it someone took if off. now the prob is this at idle the car runs fine no heat in slow traffic sayn 45mph and slower no heat but as soon as you get 50 and up the temp climbs up to around 230 to 240 thats when i slow it back down and the temp comes back down and i have made sure to burp the system well so
i dont really think i have air trapped in it. it just trip's me out that the car runs
fine at slow speed even with it mid day with the ac on in traffic!
i just order'd a new rad from advance auto so well see what happins
any and all thoughts, ideas, suggestions, constructive criticism lol
will be GREATLY appreciated
thanx again bull
