Wow, I didn't expect that, I was thinking of buying the GT-500 once I was well into my career but now I'm going Termi all the way.

 

very suprising. i thought it would be the opposite. i thought the irs would help the cobra in the lap time/handling and the gt 500 would win the drag.

 

Nice notch for the Termi, my gut feeling said to hang on to my 04. Great car.

...said the owner of the fox... and to stay on topic, give me a COBRA!!! For my opinion on the S197 see my previous posts. Having not driven the GT 500 I'm guessing it's the epitome of the luxostang/cadillacstang. The Cobra is raw and predictable to a fault. That I can deal with and embrace...

I've heard of comparisons like this before. GT500 is heavier than the Termi, which is why both the Termi and the C6 LS2 Vette (400HP) outperform it.

I am going to seriously doubt that the 03 was stock.

 

you can doubt all you want, but 380rwhp vs what 440rwhp....thats a 60rwhp diffrence seperated by 300lbs of weight difference.
