Default condensation problem inside car

i just got my 2001 cobra today and it seems there is a lot of condensation on the passenger side under the dash all the way to the floor. is there a way to relieve or insulate this? is this normal? I'm positive this is what is casuing the slight musty smell in the carpet. I'm sure it's been happening a while with the previous owner.

Default RE: condensation problem inside car

I had a problem on another vehicle and it was a drain plug on the AC (my passenger carpet was wet a lot), there was a little tube on the firewall that was stopped up and once cleaned up it stopped getting water inside. I am not sure if the Cobra is set up exactly the same, but it might be.

I am sure someone else knows much more than I about it.

That sounds like when my heater core broke. Bypass it with some tubing from your local hardware store and if the problem stops then that was it. The heater core repair is not going to be fun im putting mine off as long as possible.
