Default Brakes

I have a 2003 cobra non anniversary. I know this is a stupid question but i believe only the anniversary models came with the brembos on the front and both models have ford rear rotors and cobra calipers front and back. My rear brake pads are getting worn but i started noticing a sound like the rotors are warped and rubbing the pads or metal. Now from what ive heard and even a buddy of mine with the same car, his is the anniversary edition his car makes the same noise and we both heard from different places that the rear calipers on the 03s have a spring that goes bad inside them and actually i guess makes the caliper loose. Im not sure. I wanted to ask about it on here and see what other kinds of rear calipers people would recommend for the back cuz im thinking of replacing them when i do the pads, might even throw a set of brembo rotors on there to. not sure yet jsut wanted to see what people thought
