Are you serious? A skyline is a hella slow car. Stop watching fast and the furious.
A supra is a 50k car, to upgrade the turbos and whole system you're talking 6-10k, which is about what you'll need to turbo a mustang. Money for money the cobra is going to win. What you forget to ask is "How much money did you put into that supra to make it have 1200hp and run 9s" ?

There are a few people here who are running 9s with the stock blower, nos, and weight reduction with less then 600hp.

TBH 99% of surpas are a joke and can only run at like 60-80mph runs which at that point isnt a race.
If you notice I havent even talked about skylines. Not even worth my words.

Skylines are very slow stock!!! In the aspect of the termies. But if you do the same things to both cars cobra vs. supra all you have to remember is... V8 vs V6 both forced induction. Who is really going to win in the end. There are way way more cobras running in the tens than supras and most of them with stock engines just a supercharger swap. Really how many cars on this planet can you say i spent less than 5 grand (after buying the car) run low tens (mabe faster with some N02) then drive the car off the track back home a hundred miles with the a/c on and the radio blasting with three buddies (or girls)??? Very few

The new Skyline is no joke... but the older R series versions weren't made for straight line racing.. I bet a stock R34 takes your Terminator out in a road course.... and he takes you out easily...

you guys are borderline going down the fanboy lane... Yes the Terminator will murder a Supra stock for stock... but once you upgrade those turbos and what not, it might not win in a dig race, but a 40-150mph race it'll win dollar for dollar... unless you have a nice turbo setup on your car like Blown...

btw.. last I checked Supras were a bit cheaper then Terminators... at least good ones, lol..

Look at a couple of the post on here by Blownsvt. I would be willing to bet that he would put a nice little spankin on them.

the OP is obviously oblivious. THe cobra in stock form is right in the league with both of the mentioned vehicle. a single turbo supra will make way more power that a TT supra anyway. For the most par turbo supra are dyno queens making big power way up in the power band at 7000rpms. that why they have been coined the highway kings because they only run well doing super highspeed highway runs. there are a f
ew that are set up to run at the track and perform quite well. i still take my cobra any day.

Where are you checking? turbo supra pull a pretty penny. One of my buddies has one he is selling that has a single turbo swap done and it make good power but he is looking for 50-54k for it. I could buy 2 03/04 cobras for that.

A lot of the ones around here i see (in good condition) high teens low 20's... most Terminators are going for low 20's to high 30's... but i have seen the ones you're talking about though... that are exorbant

Yeah me too.

What kind of numbers are you getting out of a 3.4 whipple on a stroked motor? It has to be way up there at 28 PSI so why make the change to turbo?

A lot more tuning is needed... I need to get the car dialed in, and just a lot of things to do... expecting to be over 800 rwhp...

But with a turbo, 1200 or more hp would be very nice, lol...

If you don't recall, i was venturing into twin charging, combining the 3.4L whipple with an 88mm single turbo... well that was a flop, as the 3.4l whipple would compound tiny amounts of boost, from the turbo, into rod snapping levels... funny that twin charging works best probably with aported eaton, and a stockpulley...

But for now, from what i have seen, the 3.4L whipple has the flattest tq and hp curves of any power adder... with peak hp rivaling that of the big prochargers (f1-a), at the same psi...

And if you don't recall, before my whipple set up, i had an f1-a procharger, lol.... but that was with a ****ty forged shortblock and stock 01 cobra heads and cams setup... through the stock exhaust manifolds, @ 16 psi, it made 530 rwhp...

i enjoy change and diversity...
