Default brakes

i just installed a set of brembo front rotors and hawk performance brake pads( not ceramic). Its been a few days and the brakes are still squeaking like all hell whenever i go to stop, sometimes worse than others but non the less there squeaking. Also the rotors already seemed to be a little worn more than they should be and theres a substantial amount of brake dust already. Also when i push on the pedal at a certain point theres a wierd feeling in the pedal. Now im think either the pads are to close to the rotor and i have to compress the pistons in the caliper back more or that i bleed them wrong. Will somebody please tell me something here before i drive the car off a cliff.

When you installed the rotors did you remove the plating where the pads sit at? Also, how did you bed the pads in? Let me know.

were yousure to re-use the shims that were on the old pads? and lots of grease!

you dont needto compress the caliper more, it sounds like its the pads/install thats doing it.

Break-in the key with Brembo's! ....I had to follow a proceedure of braking when I installed my Brembo's with EBC Reds......
