100. It was a Fox, though. I'm guessing that the fact that it had forged pistons saved the engine.

How about a meth injection then?

ive considered putting nitrous on my car, but eventhough it would only be for track use, im very hesitant about doing it since itd be very tempting to use on the street. and i kinda see nitrous as being more dangerous than other power adders.

That is the exact reason why a Dry shot is safer.

My only experience with nitrous was a bad one. For some reason that we could never figure out, the fuel solenoid would not open when the nitrous system was engaged. The nitrous solenoid worked fine, however. The funky thing was that it worked with the key turned on, but not with the engine running. I made a single pass at the drag strip before I figured out there was a problem. Luckily, the only damage was 3 melted spark plugs, but it totally turned me off nitrous.

Yeah, nitrous backfires are THE SUCK. They do make for some spectacular pictures though.

i was thinking more along the lines of having a shot of nitrous at the push of a button being more dangerous in causing accidents. especially with trying to push the top speed limit of your car. but yea, youre right with that also, theyre dangerous in blowing up engines and causing fires.
