Hi guys, so heres my problem. I bought some fr500 wheels, 18x9 front, 18x10 rear, i finally get some tires on them and attempt to get the rears put on the car. I get them on and then realize the center cap wont go on because the threaded end of the axle shaft is sticking through the center of the wheel. I measured bout half an inch past where the center cap would snap in. So has anyone else had this problem? if so what did you do to fix it? just got spacers? cut the end of the axle off? or what?

Whoa! I got the same size fr500's as you and had no problems fitting them! ??? I am certainly not a wheel expert though, so others please shed light on this!

 

It's not the width of the wheel that matters, it's the offset and the depth of the center. Not all companies make consistant measurements for a wheel they sell under the same name (Like FR500). What brand of wheel is it?
