Default slow cranking

Car 98 cobra -

Problem - when i turn the car over, it will roll 5-6 times before it fires.. is this a common thing for mod motor starters to spin slow? The motor does have 120k miles on it.

I'll do a resistance check and voltage drop from there. Perhaps the fuel pump isn't priming enough before i crank it.

Before you start it, Turn the key all the way on (dont start it ) Let all the lights come on the dash, wait 5 seconds then start. See if that helps. This way you let the fuel pump kick on first, also by doing this the life of your fuel pump will last longer.

I let the fuel pump prime longer, rolled over on the 2nd try! I'm used to it since i had a highflow walbro pump in my nissan.
