are borla stingers called the s-type, cause i'm getting comflicting pictures with names if so

 

If your ordering from lmperformance.com then yes its the s-type. The stingers are also the cheaper price ones.

 

why are they cheaper if people like those more?

 

IDK just the straight thru design catbacks are usually cheaper. Look at magnaflow....The magnapack cb is cheaper then the chamber style muffler cb. The borla stingers are cheaper then the borla chamber style cb. Its just the way it is lol

 

i found some, what i think, are borla stingers at this website for $535, would that be a good price?

Yup the ones for $535 would be the stingers. I don't know how reliable that site is, If I were you I would call up summit racing. They will price match and even sometimes go $5 lower if you order from them. Just call them up, tell them what you found for how much and if they can price match that. They will ask for the website so you can guide the guy over the phone on where to go. But there really good about that stuff and have super fast shipping.
