I say go for the Cobra because like you said if you ever have to sell it the Cobra will re sell for a lot more. You really cant make your money back on mods in the long run. If you spend 5 grand modding your GT I doubt you will get that muich more for it. Just IMHO, go for the Cobra.

(too small)
what bolt?

Before i give my opinion... Original poster... do you own your GT flat out? If not, how much do you owe on it? What goals do you have? RWHP, 1/4 mile?

because if you own your car outright, its not going to really depreciate that much... and all you want is 400rwhp or 12 second timeslips.. I mean, it'll be A LOT Cheaper just to buy the GT... and if you want over 500rwhp, you can build a much better machine cheaper...

As far as the alternator... My stock one last about 4-5 months, then replaced it twice within 3 months later... brand new alternator.. one from Ford and the other from NAPA.. and when I sold it, I was getting the bad alternator light again...

It prevents you from going bigger than a 295/17 tire size on stock suspension.

and we all know a lot of 03-04 cobra owners will like to go bigger than that.

but they sell aftermarket irs subframe bolts for it with the rounded head.

562... you're wrong.

I had 315's on my stock tire without any IRS modifications.
