Default Installing Head cooling mod

This is the one I found and wanted: http://www.lethalperformance.com/pag...oling-mod.html

I called a performance shop near me and they said that no matter what you will have to remove the supercharger which takes 2 hours to take off and another 2 hours to put on. They also said it will take 4 hours to install this alone not including take off and putting on the supercharger. So they say 8 hrs in total and they charge $99/hr. Also getting a thermostat put on they said it will be another hour so basically its looking like $125.00 for the cooling kit, $25 for the thermostat, and about $900 in labor. Does this seem right and if so is it even worth it? $1050 for just this installation seems like alot to me but let me know what you think. Thanks

I'd get an estimate from a different shop...time & rate both sound high...maybe you can find someone on that works on the side.

that labor rate is spot on dollars per hour wise. i think the time estimate might be a little high though. i don't see it taking 4 hrs to install a head cooling mod.

it states on the site that it can be installed with the supercharger on and without removing the tranny. i'd look for a shop that works specifically on mustangs. if not, why not try it your self? i'll probably end up doing mine when i order.

How do you install it? Is there directions anywhere? I know nothing about fixing or working on cars so would it still be possible for me to do it?
