Angry Cobra Brakes

Sometimes those twist in brakes are just a pain in the ***. Since you have the calipers off did you try putting them in a Vise and pushing really hard as you twist them in. I usualy go both directions and they eventual start going in

alright after enduring much pain i decided to shave off a couple thousand miles of the brake pads since i found out that these were not cobra pads but gt pads turns out the cobra pads are an 1/8th in thinner to make clearance for the thicker rotor

napa stores is the only the parts supplier other than ford that sells the thinner pads for the cobra set up

you dont need thinner pads. my buddy went with ebc yellow stuff on his cobra brakes and they wouldnt fit either, similar problems with the HPS on mine... answer was a rubber mallet, very patient and steady hands and a good bleed of the system. His car gives you a headache from the stopping G's (from 40-0)
