Last week i ordered the Maximum Motorsports Low profile IRS bolts from American Muscle. They arrived yesterday, and where changed yesterday. I took a picture of one of the sides, i will post tomorrow. The trick is, for anyone wanting to do this, is to lift the car from the rear. Jackstand it, then lift the other side so the rear is leveled.
Directions state the driver side should be done first. I kind of screwed up and took almost an hour and a half to take that one out. Correcting my mistake by leveling the rear, the passenger side took all of 15 minutes.
So, for those of you with the IRS that want 17x10.5 at the rear, make sure the rear of the car is leveled. This is one method of doing it. the other consists of grinding the stock bolt. and the other is adding spacers. hopefully i can get some 315's on my future rims
pic will be added tomorrow. and bolts only cost 14.95, but i saved 0.90 with the code
this is one of my winter projects...lets see the pics... & new wheels! ....my understanding also is that some wheels/tires clear the bolt...no grinding for me

Nice pic...you just had to level off the IRS on jack stands & started on the drivers side?? ...any other problems?

The way i did it was with one metal ramp which my car destroyed after the job was completed ha. i put one side up on the ramp, and jacked the other side by the control arm. i jacked it up til it became leveled, it made it easier for me. you start with the drivers side, correct. as soon as the bolt came of i expected a huge drop from the irs subframe but it didn't move, it just mis-aligned the hole where you put the bolt in. Which, is no problem. to realign it, either lower the jack or lift it a bit more. I lifted on both sides. As soon as the bolt was loose enough, i took the end of a hammer to pull bolt off. The leveling is what got me. AM sends you directions which i followed.
will take a look, tahnks tim

on the stock rims i have heard you can put max 295/35, and it would clear the bolt with stock supension and have good traction. but since my car is lowered, i went with 285/40 tires, to get a little more lift at the rear.
