Default stock 04 cobra + steigmier stage 5

ok guys, basically I've found an immaculate 2004 zinc yellow cobra with 8000 miles on it. BONE STOCK. Guys asking 31k.

I've already got a 550rwhp Kenne Bell GT to kick around. So I was wondering, how much power would I be looking at if I jumped on the car and sent the eaton out right away and got the full stage 5 treatment? I know its not the most efficient blower in the world, but I was wondering what its limits are. I've heard pushing anymore than 18lbs on an eaton is suicide.

and before i get a comment...ive used the search feature....

I'd stick with the GT... You are going to be looking at about the same hp level, or maybe a little less on the ported eaton cobra...

yea i think 14psi on the eaton is all you want to put on that blower. if i had it i would forget about doing the stage 5 treatment and get a more efficient blower either 2.8H kenne bell or 3.4 Whipple. either those 2 at 18psi and a street tune your looking at 600+ which is amazing. if not and you decide to do the stage 5 treatment you will be around 500 give or take.

meh, ill probably end up getting the cobra for a cruiser (convertible) and just get the bigger Kenne Bell kit for my GT as 600 rwhp is just around the corner anyway lol.

ive always wanted a cobra, but it looks like if i want to make power numbers that would smack my GT around, I'd have to look into spending way more than i want to right now.

31k is too much for that cobra, 27k is more ideal to me.

31k does seem a little high...but it is a Cobra...If you can get the car down 3-4k I'd buy it!

That price is too high for how the economy is right now. Try getting him down to 27-28k . Also I would not run anymore than 16-17 lbs on the Heaton.
