Default Upgrading to a cobra

I've decided to sell my 2000 GT for an '01 Cobra, always wanted a cobra and finally decided that I deserve it. I'm not selling it yet but I just want to get some opinions on what price I should look to get, it has 53K miles and is a Roush clone, full body kit with side exhaust and stage 1 badging. Chrome cobra R wheels, Eibach springs, O/R X, Spintech mufflers, leather interior black on black. KBB was about 7,200 for a stock GT, so how much more should I ask with the mods? I still owe about 3K so I'm in no hurry but just kinda planning so I know what cobra I can get next year. Don't really want to trade it in 'cause it's worth more to sell it outright. I'm thinking of asking 9K, by the time I sell it early next year the miles won't change much, I drive it once a week. What do you all think?

Put your car on craigslist for 10k. You never know. I've oversold a car before, I've double KBB. Somebody might like the car more than they should and a lot of people are emotional buyers. You might want to put it up for sale and not put a price on it until they come see it and drive, then you've got them excited.

if its in immaculate condition you might be able to get what your asking. depends on what location you are in and how much you advertise the car listing

Sorry I'm brand new on this SVT board because I very recently decided to get a cobra, so I missed the threads, I'm pretty worthless huh? When I get the cobra there will be no Roush mods or any mods planned, I actually won't buy one with any mods. Since my mods are all pretty much cosmetic I wouldn't think it would take away from the value, especially since I'll give the buyer the original kit if they want it. Just looking for advice, a mistake I guess. Jesus ****ING Christ

Good idea, I may do that. The car is in phenomenal condition, never thought of craigslist. Thanks!

...always better to start too high then to give away the Farm! Craigslist is an excellent place to start!

Yeah, just put it on craigslist until you get what you want for it. Where are you? Here in Houston, there are enough dumb people that you're bound to find one that wants to pay too much for a mustang. I found one that wanted to pay too much for a landcruiser, and a supra. Start fishing.
