1998 cobra mechanical issues

Question 1998 cobra mechanical issues

i got a 98 cobra and i seem to be getting a sputter and a little bit of a bog down when i run through the gears hard and i know i got a bad catalytic converter could that be causing it or is there a mechanical issue needing fixed??????

yeah thats really vauge, what exactly is ur car doing and at what gear/rpm, continually?

DO you have a check engine light? My guess is going to be your IMRC's because you say it bogs when you get on it hard. I'm assuming if you take it slow and drive like a grand ma it runs just fine?
