97/98 Cobras

Yes the syncros in a stock T45 are junk but there are upgrades now and they can be built to be pretty strong. The T45 and T56 actually share some parts.

idk just my .02 if no one actually like learned to drive a five speed on your car the tranny will hold up pretty well, once mine breaks i think im just gonna rebuild with stronger synchros or get another t-45/t3650
and as for the termi yeah but u will pay out the *** for insurance depending on age/record
and guy who said mach 1 what do u mean are the same as a cobra? they are more expensive and have different Heads and intake manifold among other things.... so... No. lol

I have seen a ton of machs going for cheaper.. I know i got mine for 15... this market is the best time to buy something because nobody is buying anything and desperate people are getting desperate...
The T45s are strange kinda like the 3650... they're either bullet proof, or its like hitting a plate of glass with a sledge hammer...

I have a collector car policy and pay $120 a year on my 98 and $200 a year on my 03.
There is a mach 1 on san diego craigslist every week some look very nice around $14-16k
Old cobras are hard to fine clean most have had the **** ran out of them.
When you pay $7k for a 96-98 it has alot of miles. Where as a 03 mach1 is still a pretty new car. And if I was gonna pay a payment I would buy the lowest milage car I could find. 9 out of 10 people that bought a cobra did it because they like to drive fast. I would go with a newer mach than buy a 96-98 that needs a rebuild in 20k miles
check some of these out
