Default 99 COBRA QUESTION

okay i have a 99 cobra siting in my garrage, i have took the motor out because of a recent breakdown, i might have blew a rod or shot a piston,
i was planing on buying a 5.0 stroker kit to stroke it to a 302, but im not sure if the crank shaft, rods, and pistons would work out on my car
give me some ideas

I believe if you get a full stroker kit it should come with the crank, rods, pistons you would need. They are quite expensive.

Yeah, you need the whole 302 stroker assembly, which comes with rods, pistons/rings, crankshaft, rod and main bearings, etc...

There is no need for change in bore for a 302 stroker... For a 5.1L, get the block bored .20 over and get 5.1L pistons... And we have no idea what shape your heads and valvetrain is in... so no answer for the compression results..

That all depends on the kind of pistons you use... You have to specify what compression ratio you are looking for, when you order your pistons... the dish/bowl will vary, depending on what you want...
