Because that is retarded... Spending upwards of $600 to tune a car, that will MAYBE gain 10hp from a tune, lmao...

And please don't bring up that stupid hypertech tuning episode from hptv, because that was bull****!

So you're telling that there is only 10hp to found on a dyno?? ...Playing with the A/F curves and timing alone I'm sure that more can be found!

My point is this, I was doing a shoot-out for a mag. and my Cobra ran consistant 12.09's-12.11's@117.6 on a canned tune from RWTD...if I had some time on the dyno. time, perhaps I would have been running in the 11.8's....May not sound like a lot to you, but when your at the track you're looking for everything! ....Trust me!

But is 10-15hp really worth the money you would have to pay to have your stock car put on a dyno and tuned. To me its not.

So once again, only 10-15 hp can be found on a stock Cobra with an SCT tuner on a dyno?? ....I still find that hard to believe....so, your saying that Ford put these cars on the market with a max'd-out stock tune?

I find it hard to believe you can get anymore then 15hp on a dyno tune for a stock cobra. There was a guy on svtp that has a stock cobra and ran a canned sct tune and dyno b4 and after and the can tune only gave him 8hp. Now I'm sure a dyno tune would give more then a canned tune but I wouldn't expect more then no more then 15. Just everyone has there own opinion. I don't believe the tune that ford puts in these cars are that bad.
