and yes all SVT mustang trannies are manual (stock)

the earlier ones have the T-45 which is almost the same as the GTs but has slight differences (mounting points and such) and the Tr-3650? i always **** teh number up is in the newer ones i belive.

 

They started out with the t5's in 1993.
Switched to the BorgWarner t45's till 1997.
Switched to the Tremec t45's till 1999.
The 2001 Cobras came with TR3650's.
The 03/04's came with t56's

 

so is the tremec better than the borgwarner? and then the tr3650 is better than both of those?

 

I found numbers that say the 99 Cobras run 13.9, but also found that the 01s run 13.5... Is this inaccurate or is there really that big of a difference? If it is true, why?

 

The tremec t45 is better than the borgwarner one.

The tr3650 is better than both t45's.

 

My personal best, when the car was stock, in my '99 was a 13.7 on the stock original street tires.
