i have a friend that has an 03 cobra and hes selling his brakes now do i buy only the front ones do the back ones make a diff? are they in any way diff to the gt back brakes? i have a gt 2004

 

Should be bigger on the cobra than the 04 gt

 

The cobra brakes are bigger then the ones on a GT. You buy both the front & back. I would say skip buying the cobra brakes thou and get some brembo's.

 

if you get a good deal from your bud get them. both front/rear brakes are bigger on the cobra and the rear discs are vented on the cobra and not on the gt. youll need to get an installation kit for the rear brakes though. its a few brackets to mount the rear caliper. as for the front youll need some of the cobra hardware. you can find all the part #s on the ford racing website then get them at a ford dealership or from a bunch of other websites. cobra brakes are much nicer. i would know, i have a 99gt and a 03 cobra. i want to get cobra brakes on my gt as well. good luck on your project.

 

and steel braided brake line are a must im gonna replace mine as soon as the snow melts after heavy driving mine start to feel squishy...not cool

 

i think the brake cooling system is cool for the money. The 03 cobra has the extra holes in the front by the fog lights for it.
the brembos are $$$$
