This wasthe second mod I did after my IRS brace. You don't need a how to since they send you directions with pictures on how to do it. Let me tell you thoe I did it myself and it was a pain in the ***. Took forever to get the freeze plug out. You can do it yourself just keep ur kool and stay calm haha.

As for the radiator I think what your looking at is a expansion tank. You don't need that unless your doing a lot of runs at the track.

the site doesnt actually explain it thoroughly though. can someone tell me the specifics of what it does? just pump extra coolant through the heads?

KingKobra just asked the same question as I was going to ask....Im also thinking about an LFP radiator and heat exchanger....But I was curious on what it did too..On the site they are kinda limited on the description...I guess it pumps more coolent ?????

If I install this will It interfere with other mods I do to the eaton?

the head cooling mod allows coolant to flow out of the back of the head and into the system...the head doesn't have a way for the coolant to get out in the back in stock form so it basically sits there and get really hot until it makes it's way back to the front of the head and escapes

+1 It also helps so you don't develop the head tick.

i went with the APS head cooling mod (style 2). best quality out there for the price. you need to take the trans off to install it though. the style 1 is the same as shown by mustang3GT07 and does not require the trans to be removed. here is a link to their website. http://www.stangshiftergaskets.com/i...ooling_mod.htm

Thats actually 2, 1 for the radiator and one for the intercooler that's under your blower.

but you already knew this right?
