Thanks for all the replies guys, this helps me think more on the decsion, I think what I am going to do is take my truck out there, and save up and buy me a 04 termi when I get back to MD in June, also 1300 miles would prob suck driving that far in a mustang i get tired as it is already driving my GT on long trips, yea I wish I had enough money to keep the truck but something has got to go!

Drove a GT the past two winters but we were lucky. I just bought a Cobra and its my DD. but I do have a 91 cavalier that I picked up for a beater. Rear wheel drive sucks in snow. plus black and salt arent a good mix.

Who knows maybe well get an inch of snow this year. haha

Heck yes, mustangs and snow = fun

I may not have the power of the termi, but with skinnys and 4.10 gears i was doing amazing in a couple inches of snow.

And chains look gheto, but id take them over studded tires/snow tires any day.

Rain isn't that big of a deal but anything more than slush or a coating and you are asking for trouble. It can be done if you are patient and have all-seasons or snow tires but it gets old quick. I did it for two years but now if it even threatens to snow I leave the Cobra parked and have my wife drop me off.

We had no power for about 48 hours. I didn't know what to do without power. I just sat and starred at the wall for like two days straight.

Why don't you sell your GT and keep the truck?
