Default 315's

so my goodyear eagle f1's that are 315's are too wide, and it's not because the irs, it the metal assemble that it attaches to the car, and even with a half inch spacer it still rubs, anyone know what's up cause i hear about all kinds of people running 315's with no prob?

please help so you guys don't have to hear about how i had to ride around with fr500's on the front and stock rims on the back

don't know if ours are the same, but in my '01 i only had clearance issues on the drivers side. just took a hammer to the inner fender a couple times and no more rubbing, fits perfect. but i'm running nittos.

You sure it's not the quad shocks? If it is, you can just flip them..

I heard like someone else said about taking a hammer to it a few times, carefully..

EDIT: Most people fit 315s on the cobras with the Nittos which run fairly skinnier than all the other tires out there. So you could always run those.

you need to be more clear on what it's hitting. take a picture of the part it hits. and why would you ride around mismatched rims? that's just dumb.

I don't think 99-04 cobras have quad-shocks. Just regular bilstein shocks.

are the F1's being mounted on your stock 9" wheels or a 10.5" wheel? ...I'm going with the Nitto 315 DR's

its not the irs bolt is what i meant in the first post, sorry, it the piece with the whole it goes into, about an inch closer to the rear bumper and it's rubbing close to where that bigger hole is

the tires are 315/30 goodyear eagle f1's

mismatched rims...so we order 17x9 nd 17x10.5 and i just used my tires i already had and got them mounted on my new rims and since i wanted 315's with the 10.5's we bought those when we bought the rims, it's a big complicated story

we've decided to do a one inch wheel adapter

i did put the wheels on and didn't drive it, so i took a pic cause i think they look awesome
