I currently have a C&L intake elbow with a K&N FIPK on it, i was looking into a kenne bell blower upgrade and it says that the kenne bell warranty is void if i dont use a cold air kit, so now its time to change parts... AGAIN, i was looking into these JLT kits, the one i like is that Carbon Fiber one, not the "high boost" kit. the "standard" kit apparently is only good up to 500rwhp

Is anybody running one of these JLT's with their kenne bell, and if so... which kit are you using?

They said they were using it on their 590 rwhp kb cobra, so i think 500 is a bit of an understatement. But im hoping for 600 to the wheel so i dont plan on ever upgrading again.

what was their reason for taking it off then? since i have to buy one, it would be nice to know what they "upgraded" to

The only two reasons i could think of the limitations is the amount of heat created by the engine, and/or the amount of air sucked in compared to the amount of air required to suck in.

It just got here. So after we roll a blunt were putting it in, il get pictures up.

I went with K&N, just as good as JLT. Also I havent seen a JLT intake last longer then 3 years sometimes even shorter. There quality is poor imo. Cheap PVC lol, Unless the new versions are better made.

I had a bunch of trouble with fitment. It looks like that thing would scoop any puddle within 20 feet.

ya thats the one i have in mine, but then i go and read the frickin tech articles on kennebell.net and apparently this is a "hot air" system, and using it voids the warranty of their blowers.
