Just ordered my BF IRS brace from LP today...does the brace go right up in place with the muffler/tailpipe removed?! ....I was reading on Steeda's web site that the install takes 3 hours!!

...I sure hope not! ...also, I remember you stating that the gear oil does not leak when you remove the bolts?!

^^^ ...adds 20-30% strenth to the rear cover & pervents them from flexing / breaking!

Irs bracket (sometimes called IRS subframe bracket) = thingamajig that attaches the IRS to the subframe eliminating the flexing they do... stops that annoying hop when you launch hard.

Irs brace = thingy that attaches to the rear gridle and does what tims saying.

DUDE... how the heck does that thing take "3 hours" to install... and "technician required"... ??? what am i missing here... looks easy

the only thing I can tell you is...go look back there, not a lot of room & a bunch of stuff (brackets)! ...I'm not sure about the 3 hours myself, that's my question!

+ how do you change gear fluid?? ...almost have to remove the carrier as far as I can tell...or pump out the fluid!

well now i feel sorta stupid cause i didnt look farther into the brackets/braces....so what everyones says to get is the bracket to stop wheel hop....the brace is so the differential doesnt torgue so bad it breaks is that needed like at what horsepower do you need to get the BRACE
