Default Considering buying 1998 Cobra...

Looking at a 1 owner '98 cobra Black on Black convertible with 12,000 orig. miles. Not driven much and well cared for super clean is 14K to much to pay?
Also, what would be the easiest and fastest upgrades to get more power as it seems weak compared to my '06 GT.

Are you keeping or selling your 06 GT? The reason it seems weak is prob. because of your 3.73's you have. You can do a intake, tune, Lt's, mid-pipe & catback to the 98. That will really wake it up.

Edit: Do you have a link or pics of the 98?

Correct. You can also P&P (Port & Polish) Heads & Throttle body. You can also add a cam.

Yes and No.

Is it at a dealer or private seller?
Any mods done to it?
Carfax clean?

I would try to get it for 12k. But like I tell everyone, If you really want it get it. I paid $28k for my terminator 8 months ago. It has 13k miles on it & I think I over paid but it was everything I wanted so I bought it anyways. Are you in IL by any chance?

Its in nice shape I just don't like the rims on it. Your not interested in buying a Terminator? Also I'm not a fan of the vert but if thats your thing then go for it.

I agree, offer $12k - $12.5k. If he says no and you still really want it, just say ok that's cool and pay full price.

BTW: I paid $11,000 for mine ($11,950 with tax @#&$!%* NY STATE!! ) from a Mustang dealer 2 years ago this May. At the time he had brand new 245/45/17 Nitto 555E tires all around. The C&L CAI, BBK underdrive pulleys, Borla catback, and the 3.73 rear gears. The rest I did and put on/in. It also had about 66,000 miles on it. He was originally asking $11,400 for it...
